The Challenge

Meeting Software required a custom Jitsi solution installed on a Digital Ocean droplet, which reflected its brand identity while supporting role-specific conversations. The client needed the ability for users to toggle subtitles individually during meetings and generate transcription files when subtitles were off. Additionally, all files—transcriptions and recordings—needed to be securely stored and accessible through safe links hosted on separate Digital Ocean droplets, ensuring data integrity and compliance.

To address these layered requirements, our team devised a structured implementation plan that focused on technical robustness, user experience, and security:

1. Jitsi Installation
   We conducted a full installation of Jitsi on a dedicated Digital Ocean server, optimizing it for performance and scalability.

2. Rebranding
   Customized the Jitsi interface thoroughly to reflect Meeting Software’s corporate colors, logos, and visual styles, delivering a professional, cohesive user experience.

3. Transcription Functionality
   Developed a feature enabling users to toggle subtitles on and off for conversations tailored to individual roles, supporting enhanced meeting contextuality.

4. Automated Transcription File Generation
   Engineered the system to generate transcription files automatically whenever subtitles were disabled, capturing meeting content effectively.

5. Secure File Storage & Access
   Implemented secure storage solutions on Digital Ocean droplets, ensuring all transcription and recording files were protected and available via encrypted, access-controlled links from a separate droplet to maintain data separation and safety.
